SIMPLE PAST TENSE!
Simple past tense form of the verb is used to express activities or events
that do occur in the future or past. The past can be a long time ago, a couple
of years ago, a few months ago, a few weeks ago, a few days ago, a few hours
ago, a few minutes ago, and others.
As already mentioned above that in the simple past tense, change the verb
used is a change in a second form of the verb (verb2). In general, changes in
the form of both verbs are always followed by the suffix "ed".
Changes in general is called a regular verb. However, in practice, not all
changes in both the verb followed by the suffix "ed", this is called
the irregular verb. So - should be careful to distinguish where the verb is
classified as a regular verb and where the verb is classified as irregular
verbs.
Example : They went to Bali last week

in the past. However, past progressive tense, more specifically used to talk
about the events that are taking place at a certain time in the past. In the
past progressive construction, we are no longer using To Be in the present but
in the form of the past. There are three forms of To Be present that is, am,
are. To Be The third is structurally transformed into two forms only in the
past version of the form that was (to is and am) and were (in acres).
Besides To Be past, past progressive tense also uses a form of the gerund
